This week's You Are Hear show features new music from proto-hauntologists Pram, the near-legendary Felix Kubin, truculent Cambridge sonic experimentalist and lumpen-surrealist raconteur Pete Um, a homage to the great Klaus Nomi from Hamburg's Henning Kaiser, Hillbilly Minimalism from Henry Flynt and Nova'Billy, heartbroken synthpop from Monster Bobby, some lost cassette recordings from cult German underground writer Max Goldt (best known for his work with NDW band Foyer Des Arts), ultra rare 'minimal synth' sounds from the mysterious John Bender, Italian trash punk, seminal British horror soundtracks and Venezuelan avant-garde electro-acoustics, as well as a taster of some of our favourites from 2007.

MAGZ and JIM present some of the latest beneath-the-underground sounds which have crept into earshot in recent weeks. Blackpool's CERAMIC HOBS win the coveted 'title of the week' prize for their new song 'All Psychiatrists Are Bastards', EATS TAPES piledrive our ears with their infectious donner-und-blitzen scrapyard techno, The MIKE SAMMES SINGERS sing the praises of Fine Fayre convenience food, while ROLAN VEGA's analogue electronica basks in a half-remembered hauntological twilight. Other new sounds come from pioneering 60s analogue tape-splicer TOD DOCKSTADER, the long awaited new album from Mexican widescreen electronica wonder MURCOF, sitar-disco queen BISHI, and the Hawkwind-cum-Sabbath post-kraut stoner rock of New York's WHITE HILLS.
